Job Title: Community Support Worker – Mental Health
Contract: Short-term contract (full-time 37.5 hours or part-time 30 hours per week)
Location: Carlisle
Pay: £13.78 inclusive of holiday pay

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Community Support Worker to join us on a short term basis. You will provide practical and emotional support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them maintain independence, develop coping strategies, and access appropriate services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to people with a range of mental health needs
• Assist with daily living skills, wellbeing planning, and community engagement
• Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to support plans
• Promote empowerment, recovery, and independence

Essential Requirements

• Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A caring, patient, and professional approach
