IT Project Manager in Huddersfield

Location: mainly onsite with some hybrid working on occasion Contract: permanent, full-time (5 days per week) Travel: client sites across the North West and West Yorkshire regions We are recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a market-leading provider of IT Project Management Services. They are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team and lead critical infrastructure and cybersecurity projects while maintaining a strong understanding of software delivery. The Role As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering IT projects from initiation through to completion. You\’ll take ownership of planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a client-facing position where your ability to manage complex and technical project will be key to driving successful outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Full accountability for project delivery Definition, scoping, and planning of multi-disciplinary projects Stakeholder engagement and management Risk management and mitigation strategies Business case development and benefits tracking Managing business change and implementation processesAbout You You will have a proven track record of delivering complex technical IT projects, ideally with 4-5 years of experience in a dedicated IT Project Manager role. A strong background in infrastructure and cybersecurity is essential, complemented by experience in software projects.
