We are seeking experienced and qualified Mobile Air Conditioning/Chiller Service Engineers to join our team and maintain and repair clients' equipment in the mobile and static medical industry across the Southern area of the UK. As a crucial member of our team, you will work with some of the UK's leading providers of logistics and maintenance services.
We're looking for qualified F-Gas Engineers that are experienced with chillers, air conditioning, electrical installations and repairs, having suitable qualifications including 17th edition and inspection test certificate. The engineer will, at times, be required to work away from home, with hotels provided. This role will be working a contracted 45-hour week (with one hour unpaid lunch per day). Working flexibly any five days out of seven, including some regular weekends on a rota basis (rota to be confirmed with successful applicant).
Responsibilities as Mobile Air Conditioning/Chiller Service Engineer:
- Installation, service, and repair of mobile medical trailers and equipment.
- Conducting installations, servicing, and repairs at Static Sites (Hospital & Medical Centres).
- Performing minor to major repairs and testing of electrical equipment.
- Thinking creatively to solve technical challenges.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Servicing mobile trailer generators with training provided.
- Completing additional tasks as requested by clients/staff on site.
Requirements as Mobile Air Conditioning/Chiller Service Engineer:
- Qualified F-Gas Engineer with experience in chillers, air conditioning, electrical installations, and repairs.
- Possess 17th edition and inspection test certificate.
- Electrical qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
- Full clean UK driving license required.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS Check.
Working Hours as Mobile Air Conditioning/Chiller Service Engineer:
- Contracted 45-hour week (Monday to Friday) with overtime opportunities.
- On-call rotation schedule (approximately 1 in 6 weeks) with additional compensation.
- Travel & overnight stays may be required.
