Our client is a world leader in solvent distribution looking to add a Stock and Logistics Coordinator to their Scunthorpe site.As Stock and Logistics Coordinator you will control all incoming and outcoming stock ensuring transport movements are commercially efficient. The role will be a key link between sales teams, drivers and internal depots.

As Stock and Logistics Coordinator you will work with the sales team to process orders, ensuring stock is available and look to arrange effective bulk haulage. The role will keep a focus on stock levels within the Scunthorpe depot and across other sites. Additionally the role will work closely with drivers to ensure they have the correct paperwork; all goods are loaded and unloaded safely and effectively and where needed work with additional hauliers to cover loads. There will also be a focus on customer service; ensuring compliance of goods moved and a number of admin related tasks which include stock reports; sales and purchase orders.

The role will be suited to a candidate already working in a similar fast paced logisitcs role who is an excelletn communicator; has good IT and admin skills and is commercially astute.
