A leading logistics business is looking for a Customer Service Manager to join their Daresbury site. As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the customer through the delivery journey; leading a team of 3 and assisting with any escalation points required for the customer.
The role is a permanent position directly with the company and will focus on ensuring the delivery and improvement of the Customer Experience. As Customer Service Manager, you will lead a team of Customer Service Representatives and work with the Transport team to deliver against customer expectations.
The role will be hands-on and you will be required to assist with all customer service and administrative duties that your team encounter whilst also taking responsibility for any points of escalation. You will be heavily involved in KPI and Reporting for the client and internal stakeholders. As Supervisor, you will also assist with training the team.
The role will have a real focus on driving the Customer Experience strategy; analysing where improvements can be made and looking to be as proactive as possible in regard to delivering first-class customer service. Additionally, the role will require someone who can assist with order processing and working alongside the operations and sales departments.
The right person will have a background in Customer Service and Administration and ideally have some experience managing a team. It would be very beneficial if the right candidate had experience in a Transport or Logistics environment. Ideally, the person will be confident; a strong communicator and able to work under pressure. The right candidate would need to be confident working on Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
