The Role

  • Job Title: Tenancy Support Worker
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: Covering Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

We are looking for a Tenancy Support Worker to join our service in Derbyshire. This role involves helping people who are experiencing mental health issues to find and move into, maintain and retain appropriate accommodation. You will provide housing related support and advice to people to assist them with their tenancy and prevent evictions.

As a Tenancy Support Worker, you will visit people in their home and within community settings to help them to understand their options and navigate the services and support available to them. You should have a can-do attitude, be willing to go the extra mile, and be able to think outside the box. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and up-to-date record-keeping on our internal IT system. Whether working independently or within wider teams, you should be proactive and capable of making decisions with the sole purpose of supporting the individuals we work alongside to achieve positive outcomes and reach their goals.
