Are you passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives? Do you have the empathy, patience and a commitment to help people experiencing mental health difficulties achieve their goals and aspirations? If so, then this may be the role for you!

We are looking for Bank Wellbeing Workers to join our team across Derbyshire. You'll provide one-to-one practical and emotional support to people experiencing mental ill health who receive support through a personal budget, direct payment or self-funding arrangement. Working alongside each individual, you'll help build confidence, promote independence and wellbeing, and support them to make positive choices about their lives and futures. You'll use your communication, motivation and coaching skills to provide personalised, recovery-focused support.

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, approachable and respectful, with the ability to build positive relationships, work independently and as part of a team, and manage their workload effectively. You'll also be committed to equality, diversity, empowerment and people's rights, with basic IT and record-keeping skills.

You will ideally have experience of working with people affected by mental health difficulties, although we also welcome applicants with relevant personal experience or experience within another social care setting. This is an opportunity to do work that has a genuine impact. You'll be part of a supportive team helping people develop their skills, build confidence, access opportunities within their communities and take greater control over their lives.

The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence. Please note, this post is subject to an enhanced check made by the Disclosure & Barring Services, paid for by P3.
