Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Work base: Office based with regular travel

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and reliable Visiting Support Officer to join our Older Persons Services team. In this role you will support older adults living independently in their own homes, helping them to remain safe, connected, and confident in their daily lives through regular community‑based home visits. You will provide tailored, person‑centred support that combines practical assistance with emotional reassurance, building positive relationships and responding to individual needs. The role requires someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and deliver support with empathy, professionalism, and consistency. We are looking for someone who is genuinely committed to making a difference in people’s lives and who understands the importance of promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
