This role is a 12-month assignment to the Cayman Islands with a possibility of extension.
Role Overview
The Trading Analyst will support cryptocurrency and digital asset trades, working closely with the trading team in an institutional asset management setting. Responsibilities include real-time trade execution, market analysis, project-based improvements, research, data analysis, and process enhancements to improve trading efficiency and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Execution: Assist in executing trades, support operational tasks, and learn to navigate trading venues and tools.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market data, contribute to research memos, and develop tracking tools.
- Risk Management: Support trade booking, position tracking, and risk analysis.
- Strategy Development: Participate in research projects, backtesting, and knowledge documentation.
- Technology & Tools: Collaborate with teams to improve trading scripts and dashboards, and explore new datasets.
- Compliance & Regulation: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and stay informed on market regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 1-3 years in crypto trading, asset management, or related financial roles; coding skills; understanding of blockchain and crypto protocols.
- Skills: Knowledge of derivatives, financial modeling, programming (Python, C++), and ability to work in high-pressure environments. Bonus for experience in trading algorithms and Cayman markets.
