The team

Kraken’s Growth Group is responsible for shaping the customer lifecycle from the very first touchpoint. As a leader of the Onboarding domain, you will be accountable for delivering a seamless, intuitive, and high-converting onboarding experience. You’ll drive the strategy and execution for guiding new users through the critical initial steps of their Kraken journey – ensuring they feel safe, informed, and empowered to take meaningful action from day one.

In this role, you will own key metrics across signup, verification, and onboarding to drive stronger user acquisition. You will operate as both a strategic leader and a hands-on individual contributor with a passion for user behavior and product optimization at scale. Your work will be critical to Kraken’s mission of accelerating the global adoption of crypto.

The opportunity

  • Own and evolve the vision, strategy, and execution of Kraken’s end-to-end onboarding experience.

  • Build a best-in-class onboarding journey, optimized for scale across diverse global markets.

  • Operate as a deeply data-driven product leader: define metrics, set ambitious targets, run rigorous A/B experiments, and make sharp, informed tradeoffs.

  • Guide and inspire several cross-functional product teams, ensuring focus on the highest-leverage opportunities.

Skills you should HODL

  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in Growth or onboarding-focused domains.

  • Proven track record of managing user funnels, investigating drop-offs, analyzing user behavior, generating insights, and delivering measurable improvements.

  • Comfortable engaging in technical discussions to identify bottlenecks and unlock growth opportunities.

  • Strong bias for action – consistently shipping, learning, and iterating through experimentation.

  • Excellent product sense with a sharp eye for simplifying UX and advocating for clean, elegant UI solutions.

  • Deep user empathy – understanding user context, motivations, and behavioral patterns.

  • Passion for crypto and a desire to make decentralized finance accessible to the world.
