DRW is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Experienced Hire Recruiting team in London. This individual will primarily focus on recruiting experienced technology talent across Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Security, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Quantitative Development. In addition to supporting technology hiring, this person will occasionally partner with business leaders on hiring across operational functions, including Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, Treasury, Finance, Compliance, and other corporate teams.

We are looking for an experienced recruiter who combines strong search execution with a deep understanding of technical talent markets. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for highly competitive technical roles at a leading technology company, trading firm, hedge fund, financial technology company, or executive search firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including intake meetings, sourcing, candidate assessment, interview management, offer negotiation, and closing.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to develop recruiting strategies and provide market intelligence.
  • Build and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top technical talent.
  • Develop pipelines of passive candidates across engineering, infrastructure, quantitative technology, and other critical hiring areas.
  • Support hiring across a variety of business functions, including Operations, Risk, Treasury, Finance, HR, and other non-technical teams as needed.
  • Facilitate interview debriefs and drive hiring decisions through data, market insights, and candidate evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and provide reporting on pipeline activity and hiring progress.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Significant experience recruiting technical talent, preferably within a technology company, trading firm, hedge fund, financial technology company, or executive search environment.
  • Demonstrated success hiring Software Engineers and other highly technical professionals in competitive markets.
  • Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills, with a track record of successfully attracting passive talent.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse), research tools, and AI-enabled sourcing technologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience recruiting within quantitative trading, market‐making, hedge fund, or financial technology environments.
  • Experience hiring talent from leading technology companies and highly competitive engineering organizations.
  • Experience supporting both technical and business/operations hiring.
