QHSE Advisor who is ready to make safety practical, visible and meaningful across a fast-moving telecoms environment.
Mitie Telecoms is looking for a proactive QHSE Advisor to support safe, compliant and high-quality delivery across our telecoms projects.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with operational teams, managers, clients and contractors to promote best practice, reduce risk and help embed a positive safety culture.
You will be joining a supportive, safety-led business where your voice will matter and your work will make a real impact.
- Role Responsibilities
- Providing practical QHSE advice and support to operational teams across telecoms projects.
- Carrying out site inspections, audits, risk assessments and assurance activities.
- Supporting incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and improvement actions.
- Promoting Live Safe behaviours and helping build a positive, proactive safety culture.
- Supporting compliance with legislation, company procedures, client requirements and industry standards.
- Required Qualifications
- Experience in a QHSE role, ideally within telecoms, construction, infrastructure, utilities, facilities management or another multi-site environment.
- A recognised QHSE qualification, such as NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, safe working practices and compliance.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to coach, influence and engage others.
- Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required.
