Full-Time On-site
P

We are looking for Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) / Independent Directors to join the boards of growing Wealth Management firms and WealthTech businesses based in the UK, the EU and ASEAN, where we expect expanding demand for board governance.

The global wealth management market is undergoing a radical change. It is being reshaped by AI-driven personalisation, fintech apps and the Great Wealth Transfer. WM firms and wealthtechs require strategic advice, oversight support and market expertise.

Key responsibilities & focus areas

We need candidates with relevant executive or non-executive experience who can provide advice across critical areas, including:

  • Strategic change: guiding businesses through full-lifecycle change, starting with strategic options reviews (evaluating business models, market positioning, and M&A/exit readiness) to establish execution roadmaps, followed by ESG, fintech and AI integrations.

  • Core WM areas: Advising on financial planning, investments, retirement, protection and regulation.

  • Financials: Advising leadership teams on business valuation models, venture capital, private equity, debt structuring, capital raising cycles and capital allocation.

  • New business: Supporting market expansion, strategic partnerships, distribution channels and client acquisition.

  • Governance: Providing oversight, risk management, ESG integration and regulatory compliance.

Candidate profile

  • Senior executive or non-executive board experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking, Capital Markets or other relevant financial services and functions, including Technology.
  • Deep understanding of core wealth management, regulatory frameworks and emerging technologies (eg WealthTech, RegTech, AI and digital assets).
  • Ability to act as a trusted strategic advisor and sounding board to founders, CEOs and executive management teams.
  • Active professional networks across financial services in the UK and internationally.

Remuneration & engagement terms

Remuneration may be a blend of equity and salary, depending on the candidate. NB: In the UK, while an NED appointment is structured as a contract for services, fees paid for board/office holder duties are treated as employment income under tax law and must be paid subject to PAYE Income Tax and Class 1 National Insurance.
