P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Wire Person to join their team based in Norwich on a full-time, permanent basis. The Wire Person will work in a modern manufacturing facility and will be responsible for wiring a range of intricate products, excellent soldering skills and attention to detail is required to ensure equipment is manufactured to the highest industry standards. Main Responsibilities: Wiring harnesses, cable assemblies and sub-assemblies. Competent in wiring of cabinets and installing/connecting wiring harnesses into assembled units. Follow work instructions from supervisor and ensure your time is booked to the correct cost code using the company’s ERP system. Working as part of the Wiring Team but also required to work and communicate with other departments during production such as Mechanical Fitters, Test Engineers and Engineering. Opportunity to travel overseas (on occasions) to support FSE department, which is optional. Qualifications: Completed a recognised apprenticeship as a Wire Person or equivalent experience gained through previous employment.
