P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients who are currently recruiting for a Sales Team Leader to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full time, permanent basis.
Role Summary: With a strong emphasis on customer service and team leadership, you will be responsible for managing the internal sales and customer service team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Working with the team your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, maximising customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will collaborate closely with various internal departments to streamline processes, resolve customer issues, and continuously improve the overall sales performance. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the sales and customer service team, working with the sales manager setting performance targets, identifying coaching and mentoring needs within the team, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance evaluations to align team members with company goals and foster continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the sales manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, focusing on customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and acting as their point of contact.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyse data, and generate reports to track progress towards sales goals, identify trends.
- Ensure customer relationship management (CRM) systems and procedures are adhered to in line with ISO requirements.
- Hands on involvement with all aspects of costings.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and report KPI’s to sales manager.
