P + S Care and Support are recruiting for Support Workers specifically to work within the Children and Young People Sector. You will be working with young people in supported living, solo housing or within residential settings.

We are looking for people to join our team who are passionate and eager to provide first-class care to young people that promotes independence. You will present positive role modelling, allowing them to strengthen their trust and build strong relationships.

As a support worker, you will follow a specific Behaviour Management Plan and Care Plan to safeguard young people. You will help to inspire and encourage them to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner, ensuring all young people are safeguarded and listened to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage and motivate young people to participate in group activities.
  • Enhance the ability to build positive relationships with young people we care for.
  • Write clear and detailed follow-up reports.
  • Accommodate to the young person's needs, self-reliance, and living to look after their emotional and physical wellbeing.
