This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trafford Park for a HGV Technician. As part of our garage team, the HGV technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and regular servicing of various heavy construction and earthmoving equipment. Typical duties will include:

  • Maintaining the HGV fleet.
  • Carrying out weekly inspections.
  • MOT preparation and inspection.
  • General defects and vehicle wear and tear maintenance.
  • Supporting wider garage operations as needed.

Additional responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the equipment operates efficiently and safely for on-site operations. The role requires adherence to safety standards and collaboration with the team to ensure deadlines are met effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in equipment maintenance and vehicle maintenance.
