Exceptional opportunity to influence the future of the Property department within a forward-thinking firm dedicated to excellence and sector-leading innovation. The Head of Property reports to the Senior Partner/Owner and will lead strategic initiatives, establish key partnerships, and contribute significantly to the organisation's success. The Head of Property will handle a diverse and challenging caseload, mainly working with corporate clients and commercial transactions, primarily involving residential assets such as bridging finance. The role requires strong commercial awareness and includes providing leadership and technical guidance to the team to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic initiatives and provide guidance and support to the development of the Property Team.
  • Lead, influence and ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Build key partnerships and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to resolve complex legal issues effectively.
  • Deliver high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor the legal support team, fostering excellence and supporting professional development.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to independently delivering results.

What Qualifies You:

  • You are a highly motivated, self-reliant, and commercially astute solicitor with a strong background in property law.
  • You possess both technical expertise and the proactive attitude needed to succeed in an agile, boutique legal environment, along with the ambition to lead an evolving and expanding team.
  • Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a solicitor in the UK, with a valid practising certificate from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
  • Proven track record of providing legal advice and support to clients in both commercial and residential property sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK regulations and laws related to commercial and residential property.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively handle complex legal issues.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills to provide high-quality legal advice and representation.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and mentor a legal support team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Capable of working independently and delivering results without supervision.
