We are seeking an experienced Associate Solicitor to join an award-winning Dispute Resolution department. Working directly alongside a lead Partner, you will take full ownership of lender-led instructions that sit at the intersection of Property Litigation and Contentious Insolvency. This is a pivotal role for a practitioner who wants to escape the London commute without sacrificing the quality of High Court instructions or high-stakes recovery work. Key Responsibilities- Strategic Portfolio Recovery: Manage the entire lifecycle of lender-led instructions, from initial default through to final debt realisation.
- Complex Possession: Execute contested mortgage possession work for commercial and residential assets.
- Contentious Insolvency: Lead on bankruptcy petitions, winding-up proceedings, and litigation involving antecedent transactions under the Insolvency Act 1986.
- Professional Negligence: Pursue high-value claims against solicitors, valuers, and title insurers where professional error has compromised a lender’s security.
- Technical Mastery: Navigate indemnity claims against the Land Registry and manage County/High Court proceedings with commercial efficiency.
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales): Minimum 2 years PQE with a robust background in Property Litigation or Insolvency.
- Technical Independence: You are a practitioner comfortable managing a high-quantity, varied caseload from initial instruction to final conclusion ("cradle-to-grave").
