About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will take full ownership of live construction sites from start to finish. You will be the driving force on site – leading teams, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to exceptional quality standards. You will be the main point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, representing the business professionally while maintaining tight control of programme, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day running of site operations and supervising multiple subcontractors
  • Acting as the key point of contact for clients and site stakeholders
  • Delivering projects in line with programme targets and quality expectations
  • Ensuring all site inductions, RAMS, and health & safety procedures are implemented and recorded
  • Maintaining site diaries, H&S records, and delivering toolbox talks
  • Coordinating subcontractors and scheduling works in line with programme delivery
  • Monitoring costs, managing variations, and liaising with the Contracts Manager
  • Arranging quotations and managing supplier and subcontractor relationships
  • Supporting site activities and working on the tools where required
  • Flexibility to work four nights per week when required
  • Managing multiple sites when required
  • Working on diverse, high-profile projects across the UK

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly within groundworks and fit-out packages
  • Strong understanding of building control regulations
  • Experience managing multiple trades and coordinating complex site operations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and working under CDM
  • IT literate with strong reporting and organisational skills
  • Valid SMSTS and CSCS Black Card
  • Based in Liverpool or Manchester, with flexibility to travel UK-wide
