As Videographer at P Louise, you will be a key visual storyteller. You’ll plan, shoot, edit and deliver high-quality video content that aligns with our brand, connects with our audience, and drives engagement. From product launches and campaign footage to behind-the-scenes content and social-first clips, you’ll support the full video production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative & marketing teams to develop video concepts, storyboards and short-lists that reflect the P. Louise brand aesthetic.
  • Plan and manage video shoots: selecting locations, set design/lighting, scheduling talent, organising equipment.
  • Work alongside Videographer and Editors in the production team.
  • Film high‑quality footage: products, tutorials, lifestyle content, events, influencer/talent shoots, behind-the-scenes.
  • Manage lighting, camera, audio, ensuring professional capture of visual and sound assets.
  • Create multiple formats and versions to optimize for platform‑specific requirements (e.g., square, vertical, 15‑60 second social cuts).
  • Maintain an archive of raw footage and final assets; manage media storage, file naming, metadata and version control.
  • Ensure all video content meets brand guidelines in terms of tone, visual style, colour grading, audio quality.
  • Stay up to date with video and social trends, best practices, emerging formats, and recommend innovative ideas for the brand.
  • Work to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously; support ad‑hoc shoots as needed (including outside typical office hours or on location).
  • Maintain video equipment, liaise with external videographers or freelance crews when required.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience (ideally 2‑5 years+) in videography and video production; portfolio that demonstrates high quality, creative and varied work.
  • Strong technical ability: modern professional video equipment (DSLR/ mirrorless/ cinema cameras), lighting, sound recording.
  • Good eye for composition, storytelling, pacing, colour grading, audio mix, able to turn raw footage into engaging video content.
  • Experience producing video for social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and understanding of what works on each.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and put talent/creatives at ease on set.
  • Creative mindset, proactive, energetic, and able to bring new ideas to the table.
  • Flexible and adaptable: willing to travel to shoot locations (if required), work irregular hours when necessary.
  • Familiarity with beauty/fashion/beauty‑industry video content and knowledge of product tutorials/influencer content.
