We are seeking a Sales Assistant Supervisor to join our retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual with a proven background in supervising a beauty counter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a passion for skincare and makeup, and the ability to inspire and drive team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and provide daily supervision, coaching, and motivation to staff, ensuring a positive and productive working environment.
• Act as a role model in delivering expert product knowledge and makeup demonstrations.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the counter/store, including rotas, stock management, and visual merchandising.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with management to implement promotional activity and new initiatives; deliver regular feedback and performance updates to team members and management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a supervisor on a beauty counter is essential.
• Experience in makeup artistry is desirable.
• Strong understanding of retail sales, customer service, and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Confident in demonstrating and selling beauty products with expert knowledge.
• Able to work under pressure, meet targets, and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Fully flexible and available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
