Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the management of supply chain operations. The person in this role ensures that all aspects of a logistics team are coordinated to meet customer demands effectively and efficiently. The Logistics Coordinator is essential for achieving organizational goals through the timely and budget-friendly transportation of goods. Their responsibility encompasses overseeing and facilitating the entire life cycle of a product, from acquisition to distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordinators are tasked with a variety of responsibilities that ensure effective and efficient operations:
- Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments.
- Negotiating and securing transportation rates.
- Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Planning and managing inventory control.

Key Tasks and Duties
A Logistics Coordinator must perform several critical tasks on a day-to-day basis including:
- Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods to UK Warehouses
- Maintain accurate stock lists and manage inventory audit processes.
- Analyse logistical problems and develop new solutions.
- Interface daily with Marketing and Data teams to work on order management and troubleshooting.
- Maintain communications with warehouse staff to avoid delays and misunderstandings.
- Evaluate existing logistical procedures and refine them for greater efficiency.
- Raising of Purchase orders and control of order books / Critical Path and Item Catalogue
- Power BI – Building of Dashboard to accurately report SLA’s
Education and Certification Requirements
To qualify for the position of Logistics Coordinator, candidates must meet specific educational and certification requirements:
- Previous experience of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with logistics and supply chain management software (ERP systems).

- Power BI Experience
- DG Training would be advantageous but can be delivered on the job.
