Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be proficient in various related tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Employed & Self-Employed positions available, in Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon, Somerset.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential properties.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, to perform plumbing tasks effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
  • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate techniques.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, demonstrating basic carpentry skills as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
  • Bonus system in place to earn extra above basic salary.
  • Maintenance plumber required to work in domestic properties
  • 1st and 2nd Fix Plumber required for new build developments
  • CSCS card required and Gas NVQ level 3/Air source heat pumps will be of an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing problems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
  • Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating necessary materials.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting tools and materials to job sites.
