We are looking for experienced tractor drivers to operate flail mowers on highway verges and embankments. You’ll be responsible for keeping roadside vegetation under control to maintain safety and visibility for drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating tractors fitted with flails for verge mowing
- Driving between sites on public roads
- Performing daily maintenance checks and work
- Working safely within traffic management
- Recording work via tablet
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Category B required, C1)
- Experience operating tractors
- Previous work with flails or verge mowing is ideal
- Highways or grounds maintenance experience
- Willingness to work both days and nights on a rota
- Safety-first attitude and reliable work ethic
Qualifications Required:
- CPCS, LANTRA or NPORS for tractor operation
- CSCS Card
The company has a zero tolerance policy regarding drugs and alcohol, and regular screening is undertaken.
