This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating and commercial operations within the infrastructure and environmental sector. The role has been designed to support training and development, making it suitable for someone either starting out or looking to move into estimating from a related background.
You will support the management of incoming enquiries, preparation of tenders, and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Travelling outside of the local area will occasionally be required.
Key Responsibilities- Review and manage incoming client enquiries
- Prepare and submit tender proposals within required timescales
- Support supply chain coordination with suppliers and subcontractors
- Follow up submitted tenders and maintain client communication
- Attend pre-start meetings with clients and internal teams
- Assist with project handovers to Commercial and Operations teams
- Maintain enquiries and records across portals including CEMAR, Bravo and Contracts Status
- Ensure customer service remains at the centre of delivery
- Full manual driving licence
- Strong time management and organisation
- Strong numerical ability
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
- Knowledge or understanding of the arboriculture, infrastructure or environmental sector
- Previous experience in estimating or administration
