What you will do
- The Fleet Assistant is pivotal to the prestige brand experience for our customers, managing the vehicle handover, contributing as part of a team to the smooth running of fleet operations and ensuring vehicles are booked in and out of site efficiently. Keeping records accurate and up to date is also important to the role.
How you will do it
- Manage the vehicle handover for our customers
- Demonstrate exemplary customer focus and provide enthusiastic and informed support
- Check in and check out vehicles
- Accurately inspect vehicles and ensure all damage/missing items are recorded on the appropriate form, take photographs and write descriptions
- Safe vehicle movements around site/storage areas/ to and from the valeting bay
- Prepare vehicles for sale, ensuring vehicles are well presented and condition accurately recorded
What do you need to be successful
- Excellent customer service skills
- To have held a full driving licence for at least 1 year and be good at vehicle manoeuvring
- High levels of attention to detail
- Methodical and process driven with accurate form filling capability
- Ability to use a PDA
- A welcoming, friendly, positive and outgoing manner
- Physically active and able to work outside in extremes of temperature
- Some knowledge of the fleet and leasing industry an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Previous experience in vehicle inspections would be an advantage
