Devlnd Fulfilment are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative for our warehouse in Avonmouth. This is a permanent position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the day to day operations of the warehouse. You will often work independently, using your initiative to orchestrate the flow of goods from the moment they arrive at the warehouse to the second they are dispatched to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Using hand held scanners to log and receive products
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Unloading Shipping Containers, moving stock by hand or with machines
- Prepare deliveries by ensuring proper packaging and labelling
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimise processes
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency
Skills & Experience Required
- Own transport due to location.
- Forklift truck License (Counter Balance)
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders
- Ability to work alone using your initiative and able to work as part of a team.
- Good understanding of warehouse processes including goods in/out, stock management and dispatch.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Basic IT knowledge
- Fit & healthy, physical fitness is essential for this role to ensure you can safely manage heavy lifting, repetitive manual labour and maintain high energy levels during active shifts.

- IT literate with good knowledge of Google Workspace and Warehouse Management Software
- Forklift truck License (Reach Truck)
