We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gearbox Technician to join our rebuild team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and longevity of gearboxes through precise diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. We specialise in only a few types of specialist gearboxes; specific training will be given.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on gearboxes to identify faults or potential issues.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on gearboxes using specialised tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate accurate maintenance procedures and optimise gearbox operations.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or gearbox repair.
- Strong knowledge of schematics and diagrams.
