As Head of Operations, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping and delivering operational strategy that drives efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do
- Lead & Develop: Motivate, coach, and grow a team of 3–4, including the Supply Chain Manager, fostering accountability and high performance.
- Strategic Leadership: Design and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Supply Chain Excellence: Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, transport, and fulfilment to deliver OTIF targets. Demand planning and forecasting.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimisation, cost‑saving initiatives, and innovation across operations and procurement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers across the UK and Europe.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to food safety, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
- Financial Accountability: Manage budgets, forecast costs, and identify efficiency opportunities in partnership with Finance.
- Supplier Management: Negotiate contracts, monitor KPIs, and resolve issues to maintain quality and reliability.
