Overview
Our client is a well-established acrylic and plastic fabrication company. They have a requirement for another experienced Acrylic and Plastic Fabricator/All-rounder to complement and strengthen their team of skilled staff. The right candidate will have experience and be fully competent in all areas of acrylic fabrication. You will know and understand the different materials available and know how to work them correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting sheets accurately to drawing
- Understand verbal instructions and implement accurately
- Be able to think laterally
- Able to read, understand and execute technical drawings in relation to the job required
- Be able to set his/her machine up
- Have good knowledge and experience of working with hand tools
- Have a high standard of quality and responsibility
- Understand the concept of moulding acrylic sheets although on-the-job training will be given
- Be a team worker and work with other staff as a lead fabricator or work as assistant to a lead fabricator
- Take instruction and learn from the experience of more experienced staff
- Manage time and work to deadlines
