As an Espresso Machine Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the optimal performance and functionality of espresso machines for our valued customers. Beyond technical expertise, this role places a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on multiple brands of coffee equipment, primarily La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino espresso machines and Mahlkonig grinders. Also maintain and repair other coffee-ancillary equipment such as hot water boilers and brewers.
- Good knowledge of the inner workings of café equipment including espresso machines, grinders, boilers and brewers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to come to the best solution, with customer satisfaction being paramount.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, clearly explaining technical issues and proposed solutions.
- Managing time efficiently to ensure jobs are done on time and promptly.
- Job will often be completed outside of regular office hours (9am – 5pm), where you will have the opportunity to take time back in lieu or overtime available.
- Provide tips for extending the lifespan of espresso machines to customers through proper cleaning and care.
