As an Espresso Machine Technician, you ensure the optimal performance and functionality of espresso machines for our valued customers. You apply strong technical expertise while delivering exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on multiple brands of coffee equipment, primarily La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino espresso machines, and Mahlkönig grinders, as well as ancillary equipment such as hot water boilers and brewers.
- Apply solid knowledge of café equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, boilers, and brewers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to arrive at the best solution, prioritising customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, clearly explaining technical issues and proposed solutions.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure jobs are completed on schedule.
- Perform job work outside of regular office hours (9am – 5pm) with the opportunity for compensatory time or overtime.
- Provide tips for extending the lifespan of espresso machines to customers through proper cleaning and care.
