You’ll be working at a scenic pub that’s popular among families, couples, and surfers seeking a delicious bite to eat following a session on the waves or a day out exploring Cornwall’s dramatic north coast. With the option to live in, including a one bedroom private apartment, you can enjoy the coastal lifestyle both in and out of work!
About You:
- Taking the helm when the General Manager is away, you motivate team members to deliver their best and ensure everything is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Creating a warm welcome to guests comes naturally to you, making every first impression count to ensure experiences delight from the get-go.
- Keeping a watchful eye over customer feedback means your team is always adapting to maintain high standards and improve where necessary.
- You go above and beyond to ensure a consistently high level of service, supporting the full team including Front and Back of House during peak times.
- You oversee the consistent production of a quality food offering and recognise the importance of the Kitchen Team.
- Having a wealth of experience in a similar role means you are able to recognise when team members need help and you’ll support where needed.
- A keen eye for detail means you keep all admin and cash management systems ticking along as they should, taking responsibility when the General Manager is away.
