About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate Senior Housing Management Officer to join a local authority team dedicated to supporting residents and tackling anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a diverse caseload of ASB and domestic abuse cases, including high-risk and complex situations.
- Conducting interviews and risk assessments with victims and perpetrators.
- Collaborating with police, legal teams, mental health services, and other partners.
- Preparing legal documentation and representing the council in court when required.
- Supporting tenancy sustainment and reducing the risk of tenancy failure.
- Ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed and residents are protected.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in housing management, particularly in ASB and domestic abuse.
- Confident in legal processes, including preparing and presenting cases in court.
- Skilled in risk assessment, safeguarding, and multi‑agency working.
- A calm, empathetic, and solution-focused approach to challenging situations.
