A forward-thinking local authority is seeking a Corporate Estates Manager to support the management, development and performance of its property portfolio.
The role:
- You’ll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of council land and buildings, with a focus on commercial property and wider estate management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing landlord & tenant matters including rent reviews, lease renewals and lettings
- Overseeing service charges across commercial properties
- Providing general estates management, including easements, covenants and property enquiries
- Supporting asset management activity to maintain and improve income and performance
- Carrying out inspections and working with tenants, agents and stakeholders
- Working alongside internal teams and external advisers on a range of property matters
- Maintaining accurate property records and supporting decision-making
- Line managing and supporting a small team of surveyors
You’ll play a key role in the operational management of the estate, contributing to the effective use and performance of assets, in a team that values experience and future-focused leadership.
