Having partnered with a well‑established, independent property consultancy with a strong presence in South West London, I am looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, solid accounting knowledge, and confidence working across multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced lettings environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the accurate processing of rental income, payments, statements, and financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and relevant regulations. Working closely with senior management and bookkeeping support, you’ll help maintain smooth financial operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client, Contractor & Tenant Accounts
  • Post and reconcile daily rental income
  • Process contractor invoices and payments accurately and on time
  • Prepare client statements and contractor remittances
  • Set up new tenancy charges and receipts
  • Raise management fees, additional charges, and credit notes
  • Process tenant deposit returns in line with procedures
  • Handle bank transfers, cheques, and manual payments
  • Respond to account queries
  • Produce year‑end income and expenditure reports
  • Provide financial information relating to overseas tax obligations
  • Work with operational teams to chase outstanding payments
  • Office Accounts & Reporting
    • Maintain organised digital financial records
    • Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting
    • Process office invoices and staff expenses
    • Maintain monthly financial schedules
    • Track and report sales income
    • Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries
  • General Administration
    • Provide ad‑hoc administrative support
    • Prepare financial correspondence and documentation

    Should you have prior property experience or a strong record within a bookkeeping role, it would be great to have an introductory call with you.
