An opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property & Asset Manager to take responsibility for the operational and strategic management of a varied commercial property portfolio. The role combines hands-on property management with a strong focus on asset performance, value protection, and long-term growth on behalf of investor and landlord clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset & Portfolio Management
- Take ownership of a diverse commercial portfolio across office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use assets
- Actively contribute to asset strategies, focusing on income growth, cost control, and value enhancement
- Monitor performance against budgets and business plans, identifying risks and opportunities
- Advise clients on asset performance, capital expenditure, and longer-term portfolio initiatives
- Property & Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day management, ensuring assets are well-maintained and compliant
- Manage health & safety, statutory compliance, and operational best practice
- Procure, manage, and review contractor performance and service delivery
- Financial & Service Charge Management
- Prepare and manage service charge budgets and reconciliations
- Control expenditure and drive efficiencies across managed assets
- Monitor rent and service charge collections and support arrears recovery
- Lease, Tenant & Stakeholder Management
- Manage tenant relationships across the portfolio
- Support lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, and vacant unit management
- Work closely with surveyors, consultants, and legal advisors
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in commercial property management with a strong asset management mindset
- Good understanding of commercial leases, service charges, and landlord & tenant matters
- Commercially aware, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple stakeholders
