A forward-thinking local authority is seeking a Corporate Estates Manager to support the management, development and performance of its property portfolio.

The role:

  • You’ll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of council land and buildings, with a focus on commercial property and wider estate management.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Managing landlord & tenant matters including rent reviews, lease renewals and lettings
    • Overseeing service charges across commercial properties
    • Providing general estates management, including easements, covenants and property enquiries
    • Supporting asset management activity to maintain and improve income and performance
    • Carrying out inspections and working with tenants, agents and stakeholders
    • Working alongside internal teams and external advisers on a range of property matters
    • Maintaining accurate property records and supporting decision-making
    • Line managing and supporting a small team of surveyors

You’ll play a key role in the operational management of the estate, contributing to the effective use and performance of assets, in a team that values experience and future-focused leadership.

  • Experience in general practice / commercial estates management
  • Strong understanding of landlord & tenant matters
