An established and fast-paced business is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Team Administrator to support its busy finance team. This role is a key position within the team, acting as the first point of contact for all inbound finance queries, while providing essential administrative and operational support across multiple finance disciplines. You will work closely with the Client Accounting, Credit Control, and Accounts Payable (AP) teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent service delivery both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first port of call for all inbound finance queries via email, phone, and internal systems
  • Log, triage, and resolve queries or elevate them to the appropriate team where required
  • Provide administrative support to the Client Accounting team, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting assistance
  • Assist the Credit Control team with customer account queries, payment tracking, and follow-ups
  • Support the Accounts Payable (AP) function, including processing invoices, maintaining records, and supplier query management
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant
  • Assist with general finance team administration and process improvements
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a professional and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and support different areas of finance
