My client is a leading name in PBSA, managing over 13,000 beds across the UK and Ireland. They’re now hiring a Facilities Manager to oversee a key southern portfolio covering Nottingham, Manchester, Leicester, and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on role where your expertise in compliance, maintenance, and contractor management will directly shape the student experience. You'll be home-based with regular travel, ensuring high standards across multiple sites.

You’ll join a values-driven team offering flexible working, professional development opportunities, and support for additional training or courses you choose to take on—plus the chance to make a real impact in a growing, well-respected organisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and fabric systems
  • Drive compliance with H&S and statutory standards
  • Oversee contractor performance and hold them to account
  • Manage tender processes, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Guide and support on-site FM staff while liaising with internal stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in Facilities Management, ideally across multi-site residential or PBSA environments
  • Strong compliance knowledge (IOSH/NEBOSH preferred)
  • Confident, collaborative, and commercially aware
  • Able to manage people, processes, and performance with purpose
