Take charge of over 2,000 student beds—keeping them safe, compliant, and running smoothly across some of the UK’s most vibrant cities. My client is a leading name in PBSA, managing over 13,000 beds across the UK and Ireland. They’re now hiring a Facilities Manager to oversee a key southern portfolio covering Nottingham, Manchester, Leicester, and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on role where your expertise in compliance, maintenance, and contractor management will directly shape the student experience. You'll be home-based with regular travel, ensuring high standards across multiple sites.

What you’ll do:
- Lead planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and fabric systems
- Drive compliance with H&S and statutory standards
- Oversee contractor performance and hold them to account
- Manage tender processes, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Guide and support on-site FM staff while liaising with internal stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in Facilities Management, ideally across multi-site residential or PBSA environments
- Strong compliance knowledge (IOSH/NEBOSH preferred)
- Confident, collaborative, and commercially aware
- Able to manage people, processes, and performance with purpose
