Our client is now seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Rent Review Surveyor to join its growing Lease Advisory team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and expansion of a specialist rent review service, managing your own portfolio of instructions while supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex assignments.

\n
Working across a diverse range of commercial properties, you will be involved in both open market rent reviews and affordability-led negotiations, helping occupier clients reduce occupational costs and maximise long-term value. Alongside professional case work, you will contribute to business development initiatives and support the continued growth of the Rent Review department.

Rent Review & Lease Advisory

- Manage rent review instructions from inception through to completion.
- Undertake negotiations on behalf of occupier clients across a range of commercial property sectors.
- Support senior surveyors on complex and high-value rent review assignments.
- Prepare Estimated Rental Valuations (ERVs) and advisory reports.
- Analyse market evidence, comparable transactions and wider market trends.
- Develop robust, evidence-based negotiation strategies.
- Challenge landlord evidence through creative and commercially focused analysis.
- Deliver successful outcomes for clients while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Essential Experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience within commercial property.
- Practical experience of rent reviews and lease advisory work.
- Strong understanding of rent review principles and relevant legislation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse market evidence and identify emerging trends.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capability.
- Effective client management and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Confidence working across multiple commercial property sectors.
- A genuine interest in business development and winning new instructions.

Salary & Benefits

- Basic salary of £45,000 - £55,000.
