Oyster have partnered exclusively with a leading Real Estate Investor & Developer, who are sector agnostic, and focus on repositioning and redeveloping underperforming assets across the UK.
Having recently acquired a large Shopping Centre on the outskirts of Birmingham, they are now looking to hire an experienced Asset Manager to take ownership of the scheme in its entirety.
With significant investment planned over the coming years to help remodel the 250,000 square ft site, this role will be multi-faceted and offer someone the opportunity to get involved in a unique scheme at an exciting time in its evolution.
Responsibilities:
- Working within a team responsible for the implementation of the overall asset management strategy for a large shopping centre.
- Optimise Net Operating Income through proactive asset management.
- Work with strong attention to detail with input and oversight for a range of area's including leasing, L&T, property management, rent collection, internal reporting and key portfolio administration.
- Work with internal teams and external consultants on delivering development and refurbishment projects.
- Co-ordination and input within the appraisal process of asset management initiatives.
- Key involvement in building and maintaining close relationships with key town centre stakeholders including councils and other bodies.
- Support regional directors in delivering overall asset management strategy.
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified
- Significant Retail experience (preferably shopping centres)
- Experience across leasing, L&T, property management and rent collection.
