STARTING JUNE - A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Captain/Engineer and a Deck/Chef team to join a brand-new Oyster 595, supporting private family cruising over the next two Mediterranean seasons.

This is a beautifully specified yacht currently in build in Ipswich, UK, with an exciting long-term programme ahead. Following the initial Med-based cruising, the yacht will overwinter 2026/27 in Montenegro (subject to final owner plans). Looking further ahead after a second Mediterranean season, preparations will begin for a transatlantic crossing to the Caribbean, ahead of joining the Oyster World Rally which departs Antigua in January 2028.

The owners are active, hands-on and team-oriented. Valuing a collaborative atmosphere on board, they want to participate on passages and contribute as able crew when needed. They value a high standard of order and cleanliness and will appreciate a well-organised, detail-oriented crew who will take as much pride in the vessel as they do.

For the right crew, this role offers the potential for a full circumnavigation of the world, making it a unique opportunity to be part of a long-term adventure on a world-class yacht.

Requirements

  • Captain:
    • Yachtmaster Offshore CE (Ocean preferred)
    • Solid engineering skills / qualifications
    • Minimum 2 seasons as Captain on sailing yachts.
    • Oyster knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Chef:
    • Genuine passion for food and sailing
    • Ski Chalet or Yacht Charter experience
  • Both:
    • 2 years+ yachting experience
    • Preferable - experience working together on yachts
    • STCW
    • ENG1
