Job Description
Established in 2008, Oyster Search & Selection specialise in recruiting HR professionals on behalf of a range of clients in Legal, Professional and Financial Services nationwide and internationally. We recruit in to roles for both HR Generalists and HR Specialists on a permanent and interim basis.
We are currently recruiting for a Resource Manager on behalf of our global law firm client. The resource management role is central to maximising the effective allocation, utilisation, and development of legal talent.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the right individuals with the appropriate skills are matched to matters and projects, aligning client requirements with team strengths, availability and business needs. This supports our client's strategy to deliver high-quality client service while developing their lawyers and fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive working environment.
The Resource Manager will work closely with partners and lawyers to understand capacity, track workload, anticipate pipeline and resourcing challenges. Acting as a link between client demands and internal capabilities, the Resource Manager helps develop talent by ensuring access to varied work opportunities and provides data-driven insights to support planning and growth. Additionally, the Resource Manager plays an important role in supporting the practice in managing the health and well-being of the lawyers. This is a people-focused role, built on establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders in London and the wider global practice.
