Are you a technically minded engineer with a flair for project delivery? Our client, a leading global organisation is looking for a Projects Engineer to drive and oversee the planning, installation and commissioning of industrial cooling and HVAC projects. This is a hands-on role, combining technical expertise with project coordination, supplier management and client support. As a Projects Engineer, you'll play a central role in translating technical requirements into successful project outcomes. You'll support the sales team by providing expert technical advice, manage the complete project lifecycle from design through to commissioning, and ensure all installations meet rigorous health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to support sales teams and customers in developing HVAC and process cooling solutions
- Manage procurement for equipment and subcontracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery
- Conduct site visits to assess requirements, produce detailed costings and build stakeholder relationships
- Finalise project designs and produce comprehensive project plans using CAD software
- Coordinate subcontractors and manage installation schedules to ensure projects stay on track
- Oversee commissioning of industrial cooling systems and verify performance standards
- Control project finances, manage budgets and monitor expenditure against forecasts
Who They’re Looking For:
- Background in project engineering with intermediate-level commercial project management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry and chilled fluid applications (desirable)
- Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the United Kingdom
