Do you have a background in engineering and excel in managing technical projects from procurement through to completion, while building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams?

Our client, a well-established provider of temperature control solutions in the HVAC and process cooling sector, is looking for a Hire Projects Controller to join their team.

This role requires you to balance technical understanding with strong organisational skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure equipment and subcontract works for all assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Manage high-volume inbound and outbound communications with all project parties.
  • Translate complex technical engineering activities into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate equipment parts and subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and sales engineers throughout project lifecycles.
  • Communicate with supervisors, technicians and customers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify required resources and assign responsibilities across project teams.
  • Control project finances including budgeting and cost management.
  • Adapt flexibly to changing project requirements and priorities.
