Our client, an established provider of temperature control solutions, is looking for a Depot Operative to support the preparation, maintenance and movement of hire equipment, ensuring everything is ready for their customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a practical approach to work in a hands-on role within HVAC sector.

As a Depot Operative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations that keep equipment ready for hire, from receiving and organising equipment to cleaning, testing and preparing contracts for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and offload hire contract equipment, organising storage efficiently
  • Clean, maintain and test cold stores and related equipment following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Clean, maintain and test all hire equipment and ancillaries
  • Update computer systems and accurately track inventory numbers
  • Pick hire contracts based on fulfilment managers' requests with precision
  • Load hire contract equipment while upholding quality standards

Who They’re are Looking For

  • Effective communication skills with good listening abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency using a PC and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling safely.
  • Forklift driving experience is advantageous.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
