Our client, a well-established provider of industrial refrigeration solutions, is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on a wide range of ammonia and CO₂ refrigeration systems, while contributing to the company\’s reputation for excellence in the industry.

On Offer: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 additional days, door-to-door pay structure, overtime rates of 1.5x or 2x, 3x for bank holiday, company pension with up to 7% matching, company vehicle available for personal use, health insurance and care scheme, company bonus.
As a Refrigeration Service Engineer
As an Refrigeration Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems for their diverse customer base. You will work closely with other engineers, supervisors and project managers to deliver high-quality service, minimise downtime and contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Assist in the commissioning of industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and COâ‚‚-based systems
- Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on refrigeration plant and associated equipment
- Diagnose and repair system faults
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
Who They\\\’re Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years\\\’ experience in industrial refrigeration engineering
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (mandatory)
- Experience with ammonia and/or COâ‚‚ refrigeration systems
- City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
