Job Overview
As an Industrial Automation Trainer, you\’ll play a key part in delivering engaging, high-quality training on cutting-edge automation products and systems. Your sessions, whether delivered in person or online will give engineers and technicians the confidence and know-how to excel in a fast-moving industry. You\’ll also work closely with customers to understand their specific needs, shaping training solutions that help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver a range of training courses on industrial automation products and solutions
- Present standard courses and negotiate, design, and deliver customised training programmes
- Proactively identify customer training needs and formulate effective solutions
- Provide sales support visits and conduct skills gap analysis for customers
- Travel throughout the UK to deliver on-site training to customers
- Contribute ideas and expertise to help grow the training business
Requirements
- HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
- Sound experience with industrial automation systems in manufacturing industries
- Practical experience in programming, commissioning or servicing automation systems
- Knowledge of PLCs, industrial networking, HMI, SCADA, Process Control, Robotics, CNC, and Drives
- Previous formal training experience, especially in an industrial setting, is ideal
- Highly self-motivated with strong initiative, responsibility, and commercial awareness
- Passion for developing business opportunities and delivering quality training solutions
